Recreating the famous Treasury of Petra in Jordan was our second work. Today, Petra is designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site (as of 1985) when it was described as "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage." It is also one of the New Seven Wonders of the World (as of 2007). For this piece, we used a total of 3,068 U.S. pennies. The piece measures approximately 40" x 40" (100cm x 100cm). Our Petra work is the first segment of a larger project that is yet to come.
